Best Buddy Canine Training

Professional In-Home Dog Training

In Home Dog Training In Beaver Dam

I have had dogs all my life and have always wanted to work with animals.  Four years ago I decided to leave my career in accounting and pursue my dream of working with and training dogs.  I enrolled with Catch Canine Trainers Academy and completed the general training program.  I have volunteered in shelters and fostered several dogs through the years and I was allowed the opportunity to be an honorary Vet assistant for a day, that was not only a valuable experience but very rewarding as well.  Recently I have paired up with a mentor and colleague to sharpen my skills and offer a new training concept.

My goal is to help pet owners to understand how dogs communicate with humans so they can train their dog more efficiently and have fun at the same time.  My greatest joy is watching the owners expression when their "best buddy" starts to understand and learn what it is their owner wants.  I am a positive reinforcement, force free trainer and I refuse to use any type of aversive training methods.  The most important aspect of training is making sure you build a trust with your "best buddy".  Remember a happy well trained dog makes a happy family!  When I'm not training I enjoy hanging with my two "Best Buddies", gardening, reading and spending time with my family.
